Now all I have to do is devise a way to have a hook on the door to the cupboard under the stairs which is in my kitchen which won't wobble as the door is hollow I am sure you can buy screws for hollow doors.I only hand a small bag for peelings in it But I am looking around the kitchen seeing what's working properly or not today .Definitely in a DIY mode.:)

Just spoken to my OH who said you need one of these he said they are a bit fiddly to fit, you need to drill your hole, and then hold the screw in place and unscrew the 'arms' to hold it in place, if we were nearer I'd send him round to you for an hour :D, the only other thing I can think of it a stick on hook, but I don't know it this would hold the weight ???

Thats the thing:T I think my late OH called them 'butterfly' screws I will have a chinwag down at my local ironmongers on Monday its a real OS shop where you can actually buy a couple of nuts and bolts and not a whole blooming box of a gross.I was inther last week and the chap fitted a circiut clip on my sitting room door handle for me for 40p instead of selling me a whole new one.I am so lucky to live in a small place where the shop keepers still value your custom even if its only for 40p.Bless him

    Good Morning OS Friends xx

Rainy here overnight but dogs just back from their walk smelling distinctly.........doggy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Just lit their candle to remove the aroma. I am reminded constantly that it will soon be christmas as my dogs favourite toy repeats "Ho Ho Ho...Merry..........." Exactly 6 months to the big day:eek::eek::eek:

    And I can't wait :o :rotfl:

    Afternoon peeps!
I can feel the heat of the "heatwave" but nothing but thick cloud ATM. Still it's warm, that'll do me ;)

Had to go and get DS yet another pair of trainers as he's completely trashed is last pair (ben 10 ones from Mothercare) so spend £26 bloomin' quid on ones from Clarks. These had better last........
Not sure what's for tea tonight. I've got a load of spinach growing so really want to incorporate that a bit more into our meals. My courgettes are flowering but not doing anything, I'd hardly seen any bees last few weeks and I did try a spot of DIY pollination but it doesn't seem to have worked. Got loads of male flowers but no female ones.......my brassicas are getting nice and big though :D think a couple of the savoy cabbages will need a couple of outer leaves taking off as they are cramping the style of a broccoli or two (but that's my fault for cramming so many into my small plot :o:o)

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not :)

    G'day all,
Been mia recently so don't know what's been going on. Last I news I got was the handfasting - HH - glad your celebration went so well:)

I am in bereavement, work and visitor turmoil and haven't even meal planned.

I wish everyone all the best and send hugs to those who need or want.

    With love, Silver x

BB - it's something you need to be invited to (not sure how i managed it!) but you scan your shop etc and send in your receipts and they reward you so it's market reseach on what the nation in buying, got a nifty scan thingy and everything!

Stayed in and bought wine instead of 2 pints, BIL and I hung out, I hope he is allowed to live with us, he's good company. as OH has been a bear with a sore head all day, he's apologised now though, but he's a grumpy old man sometimes!
