Had to spend 60p on a coffee yesterday - I was in dire need of caffeine - I normally have instant on my desk, but I thought I took it home. I later found it in a bag under my desk
. Went out for pub lunch for a colleague's leaving do, and out for dinner for my housemates birthday do! Expensive, and not very healthy! The cost didn't come to too much - tho I probably should have had a bit less wine.... Was a bit miffed at the pub lunch tho - I htought I'd be good and order a lime cordial instead of a beer, as it'd be so much cheaper - the lime cordial was £1.30! For some squash?! Rip off....
Cycled into work and back today as my car had it's MOT. I used my shiny new panniers (fire engine red!), bought for my birthday by my parents. The panniers were excellent - so much easier than carrying a bag on my back - and I can carry so much more. In fact I had trouble lifting my bike off the ground :S .
The MOT went well, cost £75 all in, so not too much. Think I might take my car back there for a service, as the place I used to take it to always fleeced me!
Off to Cornwall for the weekend for a bit of a jolly. Have a lift down there and back, so petrol is shared. Should be a fairly cheap weekend, and will be nice to have some time off work.0 -
Back from the weekend in Cornwall. I am utterly exhausted! Thankfully didn't spend much, as accom. was already paid for. Time to knuckle down on my next essay I think!
I have a couple of mystery shops booked for Saturday, but not been able to find anything else useful :S . A lot of them are Monday-Friday shops which I can't do too far afield. Unfortunately my home town isn't a shopping mecca!
It should be a fairly low spend week this week, will be staying at home all weekend studying. Fun times. Made 2 more amazon sales which I need to post tonight. Might list some things on eBay if I get bored of studying.

I did a challenge event - we stayed in St Ives, and ran down the South West Coast Path from about Padstow to Lands End over 3 days. It was hard work - but good fun. We had amazing weather, and some amazing views0

Yay - Just calculated that I should have filled my ISA after November pay day
. Been looking at my next savings options. Think I'll open the highest easy access account, then drip into as many regular savers as I can. Tho got to start pondering about Christmas...
