Does anyone ever win with a gmail address?

Just wondered if anyone wins 'big' prizes using a gmail address or do you have more luck using a different email account? Also do you think they just randomly choose a winner or do you think they choose a letter of the alphabet and choose an email address starting with that letter? Don't know why I am asking now, just been…

I have a gmail address and have only ever won one thing (glamour may daily comp) and have been entering competitions since last november
And my email has my name in it.
If its luck, then i must be the unluckiet comper on here lol
Oh well,i will keep trying.
