I am thinking of applying for Tescos Broadband service for £19.97 per month.
One thing I am not clear on is do I need to sign up for a service provider or is this included in the price? also does anyone know the current line charge for BT as I am also considering changing my home phone provider too so I have to compare prices.

BobrobUK, I am with Tesco broadband, have been with them since they started dial-up. Tesco will be your ISP and as such you will have a tesco email.

BT basic line rental is £10.50 per month if paid by dd, £11.50 per month if not.

Thanks for that, will soon sign up for Broadband with Tesco, the good thing is they have no download limit whereas BT do.

Forget TescoBB.

I tried to sign up with them October, and when I was not connected by Jan., I cancelled. They kept on blaming BT., but BT assured me that lines were instantly available.
