My tank is 2500 litres. I filled it last in March 2010 and it's pretty well empty now.
Having said that, I don't use the boiler much in summer - immersion heater for hot water. I'm currently waiting for the price to drop a bit before filling up (timing your re-fills cn make a big difference to cost so you're lucky to have a big tank.)
As others have said, make sure you agree with the landlord how much oil is in the tank at the start (in writing!) and that if there's more when you leave he'll 'buy' it off you.0 -
our tanks only 1200 litres our last one was 900 we generally buy 900 in the summer and it does us til the next year, we buy it in summer because it's cheaper however we rarely us it in the summer, it's usually it's lowest at the end of julyDEC GC £463.67/£450
