But according to those on here, there are no laws to punish the @rseholes who can't be bothered to walk a few extra yards.

Not me I don't mind em being punished, but it can not be done by a private company because then it comes down to them making a profit. If they have someone patrolling a car park they are going to want to pay their wages and make a profit.
So if everyone conforms, no money is made,so what do they do then. Wheels on the lines, badge upside down, wrong colour car?

Unfortunately the type person who abuses these bays wont pay anyway. The old dear who has got a badge but forgot to put it on the dash will pay. Of course after an unsuccessful appeal where the badge was produced. Plus of course the disabled person who hasn't got a blue badge.

The whole system needs looking at, I have not got the answer, but I know a private company [without regulation] hasn't either.

Because I presume he didn't have a child seat in the back of the car, or Webby saw him park?

He/She of course could have been picking someone up with a child in a seat?;)

Breaking the 'parking rules' at a Supermarket, LOL! They really carry a high level of authority and enforceability of course! :rotfl:

But more to the point, tell us all please, how did you KNOW they were breaking the rules? How do you KNOW he wasn't collecting his wife and child then? Judged him on his Audi, watched him park and walk away, did you?

Someone walking away from parking their car tells you NOTHING. You cannot know if they are collecting a child any more than you can know if they are disabled, or are collecting a disabled person.

Unless you stalk them of course!

You need to get a life. I have 4 children and the only thing I once did when I thought someone was taking the mick as they left their car in a P&C bay at Sainsburys, was that I called out 'excuse me, haven't you forgotten something?' They turned asked 'oh, what?'. 'Your child' I replied, politely pointing to the sign.

Nowadays I wouldn't even do that as it's small-minded and you cannot know someone's business - which is, afer all, none of yours...

I have a life thanks for the concern.....I am a married father of two and appreciate the benefits both practically and safety wise that Parent and Child spaces afford us.

For you to come on here and defend such arrogant and ignorant behaviour shows to us all that you are no better that the lazy arrogant morons who think themselves above the rules......

And the Audi was parked without reason in the P&C space, otherwise the parking warden wouldnt have agreed with me and ticketed him.

If you are not happy with Asda's parking rules, there is always Tesco......Bye bye......!!!!

And "Coupon Mad" remember Asda, like all supermarkets are on private land and can implement whatever rules they want to.

At least Asda are doing something about the scum that take these spaces without reason.

    Good for them.

Should have added .... I bet you change your tune if you ever get conned into receiving one of the fake PCNs ! And don't say you won't get one because the two my car has received so far were when the driver thought they were sticking to the rules. Thankfully G24 are too cowardly to do court because they would get their backside kicked :rotfl:

But people are very wrong to park in disabled spaces.

True, however are disabled parking spaces in private car-parks "real disabled" spaces or just made up ones like the P&C spaces? e.g can you get fined for using a disabled parking space in an Asda carpark?

Hope they are paying VAT on the income.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
