YES I did want that arrogant idiot in the Audi to pay £70 for breaking the parking rules in Asda
Maybe next time he will or will not think twice about taking up space he shouldnt be in.......
No sympathy at all for the arrogant amongst use who think themselves above the rules......
Breaking the 'parking rules' at a Supermarket, LOL! They really carry a high level of authority and enforceability of course! :rotfl:
But more to the point, tell us all please, how did you KNOW they were breaking the rules? How do you KNOW he wasn't collecting his wife and child then? Judged him on his Audi, watched him park and walk away, did you?
Someone walking away from parking their car tells you NOTHING. You cannot know if they are collecting a child any more than you can know if they are disabled, or are collecting a disabled person.
Unless you stalk them of course!
You need to get a life. I have 4 children and the only thing I once did when I thought someone was taking the mick as they left their car in a P&C bay at Sainsburys, was that I called out 'excuse me, haven't you forgotten something?' They turned asked 'oh, what?'. 'Your child' I replied, politely pointing to the sign.
Nowadays I wouldn't even do that as it's small-minded and you cannot know someone's business - which is, afer all, none of yours...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Serves them flipping well right. Just like the arrogant gits who take up disabled spaces, I suppose they are breaking a silly rule as well. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

No, rules that are there to benefit those who need the spaces, not the arrogant lazy beggars, who have no regard for anyone else but themselves. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
I agree they and disabled bay abuses are ar5eholes.
However in this country we have Laws and statutes to punish ar5eholes not scammers!
But according to those on here, there are no laws to punish the @rseholes who can't be bothered to walk a few extra yards. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Because I presume he didn't have a child seat in the back of the car, or Webby saw him park? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

I have managed to work out how to get the URL link in my opening post, which I have amended accordingly.
For almost every email that I have sent to the ASDA CEO, I have got the response from the Exec Relations Team for either me or my friend to contact TCP directly in spite of me providing beforehand a URL link of the Watchdog paper aeroplane show, PPC PCNs not being legally enforceable, ignoring all correspondence from TCP, etc.
Me thinks that ASDA and all of the other s/markets know that this is a scam and shame on them.
Pity that we can't expose them to Watchdog, etc.0 -
There was no such thing as child spaces when mine were younger, I don't know how the world eveloved, I really don't. Like those people with children can't walk a few extra yards any more.
But people are very wrong to park in disabled spaces.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
