Thanks for testing both, I'm sure you're right about the graphics drivers.

Interesting about Chrome and Adblock - that'll mean that the 'Malware Domain' list for Adblock won't be any good on Chrome if I understand it correctly.

No idea. I've just added the malware domain list to Chrome with no problem. It's this one isn't it?
I'll test it if you tell me how.

Oh I'm sure the lists load correctly, but if all it does it hide the malware content rather than block it, then I'm guessing the exploits will still be able to work. Best if you don't actively go visiting the sites on the list :)

The interest to me is so that I don't recommend the Malware Domains list to people on Chrome, as though it'll be as effective as it is on Firefox.

The Malware Domains list is for blocking exploitable content from particular sites: video, images, scripts. Under Chrome there'd still be ways of getting around some of that apparently.

    Also from http://adblockplus.org/en/known-issues-chrome:
Adblock Plus doesn't block in-video ads, background images, XMLHttpRequests
Cause: Google Chrome currently doesn't allow blocking any of these request types

I understand what you mean. I'll edit my other post to hide the list from others just in case.

Edit just realised that's a pointless exercise as you've quoted it lol

2nd edit. That's cleaned that up nicely, Thanks Russ
