    I have been doing this for a number of years. I started off saving £75 per month which gave me £300 each for the kids at Xmas. I now save £125 per month and this gives me £200 each towards their birthdays.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

    + however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

    As you will see from my signature, I've now saved £30 towards my xmas bonus. It really is an excellent idea and well done for thinking about it.

    Thanks bottleofred! I'm really glad you're going to have a Christmas bonus this year!:beer: Last year I struggled a bit with buying presents - just managed it. I'm determined that's not going to happen this year. Also lots of expected and unexpected social events take place!

    This is a great idea! If I put away £1 a day from now until 16th December, I'll have just over £150 to put towards presents (and hopefully won't notice it disappearing from my wallet too much!)

    Will set up a standing order into my savings account right now :)
