Manchester - New York - Miami - Manchester

Hi everyone
I'm struggling to work out the best thing to do for an upcoming US visit.
I need to fly from Manchester to New York for a meeting and then after 3 days fly to Miami for another 3 days and return then to Manchester.
Do I book a Manchester/NY return and buy a miami return flight to NY or can I fly into NY and out from Miami?
Does anyone have any advice?

You will be able to buy a ticket flying into NYC and then out of Miami. These are Multi City/Multi Stop tickets, most major airlines/online travel agents have this option on their website. Kayak.co.uk is also a very thorough comparison site that offers a multi city search. You may also be able to buy the NYC-Miami leg as part of your multi city ticket.
The only difficulty is that i don't think anyone flies directly to Manchester from Miami, so the flight home will involve a stop somewhere.0 -
They are no non-stop MIA-MAN flights.
BTW Lufthansa are flying their new A380 double decker aircraft between Miami and Frankfurt, so you could do MAN-EWR-MIA-FRA-MAN on Continental/Lufthansa.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
best option would probably be a MAN - MIA return via NYC each way, with someone like continental, Delta or AA (although some services with DL & AA to MYC are only seasonal, so would need to check exact dates). Also, try make sure you get a saturday night in the states included, as that helps with the majority of fares. Then, as you are travelling on 1 single ticket, it gives a bit more protection if things go wrong.
