You used to be able to get a discount if you get one of their in store cards for purchases made on the day of opening the account. Makes the buying process even longer though...Probably worth a call to customer services fpr details of that or any other offers. Info. may well be out of date as I don't often get to Ikea....

  • Be careful and look after yourself when attending an Ikea sale... no, seriously!!

People have been seriously injured and one was even stabbed when a sale happened at a store in London!!

    Take bodyguards!

  • This family card is also available in the Leeds store. We visited the store before christmas, filled a form in and got the card then and there, we received a good discount on a fab kitchen shelf....

I've just been sent discount vouchers by ikea, they have my name on so not for general consumption, but

All i did to get them was join 'ikea family' the mail did go into my 'junk mail though so it's worth checking.
It's worth joining cause you get free tea/coffee in store and around £60p reductions on most other hot food.
There's also huge discounts on other goods ie £85 of vinstra bed frame.

Coupons are £20 of sultan hasselback mattress (original price £230) & £9.90 of stave mirror (original price £24.90)
    valid till 19th october only

  • Hi there,

Not sure if this is allowed, apologies if not.

I'm after an Ikea money off voucher please - the ones that you get sent if you have a family card after you have spent a certain amount of money.

I've had them in the past but haven't been to Ikea for a while using my own card, but I did get given a voucher by a friend a couple of weeks ago as she didn't need hers and the cashier took the money off without a problem.

The back of the voucher didn't say it wasn't transferable or anything and my family card doesn't specify my name on it.

I need more stuff from there (as you do! :D) and just wondered if any of you have a spare one you could send me please?

If so, please send me a PM and I'll post you an SAE so you can send it to me.

    Many thanks :)
