Xbox 360 Live Gold Subscription

Hi all,

After getting a 360 at the weekend Im keen to get online asap. It seems the price for the live card in the Uk is about £40, dipping to £25-£30 on ebay. However I have seen a few US sites/US ebay selling for as low as £15 for the year. Will this work in the UK? Im cant see why it wouldn't, just dont want to waste £15 if it doesnt.

£40 for a LIVE subs isnt too bad, why dont you sign up 4 1 mnth of GOLD first 2 see if u like it unless u have tried it and u like it then u wont need to have a trial month first,

if your buying from a reputable ebay seller then i cant see anything wrong with buying 1 from ebay

Is your 360 a premium version? If so it may come with a 48hr Gold trial, I was also told by XBOX live support at the weekend that when a new account is created they will give a months trial....

I've bought 12 months live subscription from an ebay seller in us. Only cost £17, he sent the code a working day after the paypal subscription came through. Not sure how advertising stands here on MSE so I've sent you a private message with the name of the company and how to access it through ebay.

from what i understand, you can use old xbox subscription codes, as long as when you buy the starter kit it has the logo in the bottom right corner, 360 compatible, so it'll cost you less than £20

Hi all all premium packages come with 1 months free gold membership then after that you get silver membership.
To get 1 months free gold membership you need an msn email address, you can make one up on your pc to incorperate xbox eg, ....xbox360@msn.com.
once you've got this you can log onto the internet via your xbox, as long as it's connected to the internet, and once you log in it gives you 1 free month gold membership, also you can get 3 months gold membership at £12.99 from play.com hope this help's

I got the premium package with 48 hours free trial, also got a 48 hour free trial with PGR3 and a month free trial with the livearcade/wireless pad I got with it aswell.

if you have old xbox with live on it, you can migrate that account onto your new 360 and it transfers into gold.

Yes, any remaining time on original XBOX live will turn into XBOX Live Gold.
