Why isn't your business partner now your former business partner? You need to be absolutely sure that he isn't running up credit in the name of the partnership without your knowledge - as both partners are equally liable for partnership debts.

How long has this been going on? Have you previously reminded the bank that both signatures were required?

What does your business partner say about it?

CHEQUES NOT SIGNED AS PER MANDATE

WHAT WILL THE BANK DO?? - OUR BUSINESS PARTNER HAS BEEN SIGNING THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF CHEQUES TO HIMSELF, HIS PERSONAL CREDIT CARDS AND SUPPLIERS

OUR CHEQUES REQUIRE 2 SIGNATURES AS PER MANDATE BUT CHEQUES HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH EVEN THOUGH WE INFORMED THE BANK OF OUR SUSPICIONS

I HAVE INFORMED THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN AND AM NOW WAITING TO HEAR OFF THE BANK

JUST WONDERED IF ANY ONE HAD BEEN IN A SIMILAR SITUATION??

    MANY THANKS

Have you the sought legal advice as per the suggestion in that thread?

    Edit:
In the circumstances, a rather odd thread started about 10 days ago here as well
