morning all today is a nsd, i have to stay in and wait for the man coming to fix my dryer which broke just before we left thankfully it's still under waranty and now we've taken out extra waranty aswell we've replaced a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all in the last 11 months and we really don't wanna have to do that again so cover is £15 a month for all 3 but includeds parts and labour (which currys didn't cover) and replacement we firgure it's £50 a year for each and there all £300+ appliances so what are the chances of there being no problems with them in 6 years- sorry that was a wee ramble lol

anyway dinner is sausage rolls chips and beans we have plenty in to last us the rest of the month except for more milk, bread and spuds i'm hoping to come in under £100

    Hi All

Just about given up!! just totally lost the plot for last two months and now halfway through August without setting a budget!!
School hols haven't been great, trapped nerve in neck so no driving, and have spent a fortune on acupuncture and osteopaths, back off to docs later for more pain killers - I bet it only just gets better when I go back to work in September. So have very frustrated children as it put a stop to the days out I promised. Three of us have also just started SW and although am having food delivered I seem to be getting through enormous amounts of fruit, yoghurt and lean meat!! Hope when I am not too loopy from the pain killers I will get a grip on things again.
Hope everyone else is well .

Just ordered delivery to get through next week. Total was 37.40 which is not bad considering it includes delivery charge and toilet roll. Got value flour so will be baking next week. Fortunately have a reasonable amount of meat in freezer so only needed to get a chicken for the weekend.

Can you recycle the last week or 2 of the previous plan? Probably doesn't fit with what you have in stock but it might be better than nothing? Hope you find your motivation, please do send some around when you do!!

Now there's a thought! Thank you :-) Why didn't I think of that? I might be able to make that work! Now all I need to do is make myself sit down at the table and sort through them all (I have all my meal plans going back 18months....how sad am I? :o)

We've got Gammon Steaks (already in freezer) with MrsMcawbers Cheese & Onion Fryits, Onion Rings & Peas for tea - nom nom

For those who haven't tried the Cheese & Onion Fryits I can highly recommend them  Not sure why they're called "Fryits", as you bake them, and they are undoubtedly a bit of faffing about, but they are soooooo worth it.

Off out in a mo for bread & milk - hopefully, that's all I come back with!

Aargh, my month runs from 15th to 15th of the month. I thought I'd come in 14p under budget for July/Aug but just totalled it and it came to £425.63 so £75 over! It's all the little £5 here and there.

Going to really try and keep in line this month. :j

    £350 budget here I come!

    Hi all

Fryits sound gooood will check them out in a minute.....

Had to go to the shop today ( had to get things boys don,t like buying) and was very good, spent £4 only needed potatoes and gravy n things - very proud of myself for not being lured by Mr S and his special offers :)

HM fishcakes and chips for dinner this evening, may even treat myself to HM choc brownies and icecream after.

Starting to have that smug feeling that I might stay on target this month..........

Have a great evening all x
