Hi all. I have now installed net nanny, got a red faced apology from my little angel!!! and all is now well. I am now currently inputting all the words that she used on the browser (including the welsh ones!!). This could take some time as I found 268 phrases, the little madam. Anyway thanks all:A0

We used to go in the reference library and look in a massive dictionary for rude words at about that age, it whiled away many a wet day in the summer holidays.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, just install some parental control software and block the rude words.0 -

I believe if I checked the history of one of our computers, I'd find a search for 'lump on testicle'.
Because one of my teenage sons nearly caused me to crash the car by casually telling me he had one, after I picked him up one day.
And it was ME who asked HIM if he'd googled it. Which of course he had. And I checked that the information he got there confirmed my suspicion that these things aren't usually anything to worry about, but if they are, the sooner you get them checked out the better the outcome.
And we've had it checked out, and it isn't anything to worry about, but wasn't he sensible to tell me? And can I blame him for googling it before telling me?
Now he may well have got more than he bargained for when he googled that (I haven't looked myself!), and maybe surf controls wouldn't have blocked it, but I do think that there's an argument for allowing free access to information ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
