  • Do you mean threads or posts? if you mean posts, you can delete your own posts, if you mean threads, why would you want to delete a thread you had started?
  • If you create a thread that quickly goes downhill, or if you make a duplicate by accident, or if you want an answer and get it within minutes etc etc
  • Or maybe just if unpopular posters post their opinion and it isnt wanted:rolleyes:

The question and reply may be of use to tothers.

If you create a thread and then decide you wish you hadn't just edit the message - delete the text and replace it with 'please delete' or something. I don't think you can post a blank message.

Just to clarify this one, the reason you can't delete a thread is because you don't have any threads.

No one user owns a thread. The OP is just that the original posters, but it doesn't mean the thread is theres. Imagine a user in a fit of pique decides to delete a thread with 100,000s of words of useful MoneySaving, non of which they wrote just because they started it.

    Sorry I cant help more
