item perfect when left but buyer says used?

I can't believe the cheek of her.
I think most of us on here buy items to re-sell on ebay, be it car boots, charity shops, ebay etc etc. If the item proves faulty it's our look out (IMHO).0 -
It was her responsiblity to check the condition of the product when she bought it. Especially if she decided to sell on, as soon as she resold it, it is no longer anything to do with you, just between her and her buyer.
Plus 2 months later, yeah right.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Thanks all.
I have emailed back to say that in the circumstances there is nothing I can do.
See what happens now!0 -
The way I see it, the item was received by her and there was nothing wrong with it. Any disputes resulting from her sale to the third party has nothing to do with you, and should be resolved between the two of them.
Otherwise, you might as well go back to the retailer of the face cream and complain that the item was 'not new'.0 -

I think they are being a bit cheeky really - any thoughts?

I don't think anyone has mentioned that maybe the final buyer is trying it on initially?
Maybe they got a creme, didn't like it or whatever and hence pulled the 'it's used' card on your buyer?
But as said before, we're not talking laptops or cars, so how can you trace one of apparently numerous cremes (given as said above she has more than one to send on another)?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
I did ask whether her buyer was reputable to which she said - very. I assured her that I was reputable too.
Anyway nothing more from her..............yet!
Thanks again0
