Hello All,
I need some help please....:)
I am looking for flights to Austrailia.
I am trying to beat the best price I have would which is £1,127.25 - Cathay Pacific
Dates - Ideally 26th Dec - 13th Jan - can go a couple of days later.
Looking to fly from Manchester to Sydney and then from Melbourne to Manchester on the way back.
I would be so grateful for any help

Call a travel agent such as trailfinders and see if a flight+hotel deal with a 2 night stop over in Hong Kong is any cheaper.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

£1,127.25 looks like a good price to me. Cathay are an excellent airline, too.0

i agree with jammin, price seems about right - provided you dont mind the travel through Heathrow.

That price seems about right (considering it's peak season) if you don't mind two changes (Heathrow and HK). Emirates are little more expensive but are only one stop and avoids Heathrow.0

If I, I would seriously consider paying a bit extra to avoid LHR. Hate that airport.
On the other hand, I'd prefer to transit in HKG than in DXB. Decisions, decisions..0 -

It's swings and roundabouts. The other problem with Heathrow is that the BA shuttle arrives in T5 and the Cathay Pacific leaves from T3. That's a connection I wouldn't want to do in a rush.
Dubai can be mixed experience for transiting. It just depends on if several full A380s are landing at the same time.0 -
There's a LHR T5 to T3 airside transfer shuttle bus.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
