Hi folks, I hope everyone's had a great day and you're all ready for a really good weekend.

A quick reminder here that - as from today it's exacly 11 weeks today until we open our pots!!! :j T'won't be long until that BIG day folks, what a weekend then! :D

Still plenty of time to get more saving in, and for all of us who aren't able to save terrific amounts....it's still a heck of a lot better than NOT having saved at all. So, look forward to it EVERYONE and large or small it'll be aan IMMENSELY PROUD moment for us ALL.

Hi sparky, all the best for saving for your NY & Chicago holiday in 2013. You'll need a fair sum for that.

Have you finished that ice cream yet, Bufger? Anything that's non penetrable will do fine.

I loved the 20p tale, starnac, :D no one's here's the donor then. Whoever it is should be very proud.

I see what you mean, Caz, I'd forgotten about the other dk's, good job you didn't! ;) I'm delighted you're so happy with that mini range, not such a bad miss of the old'n then.

You're all doing just great, e4rub, Saving the family...., Muppet_baby and bargainlover08!! All little bits add up. :j

I'd have absolutely NO desire to be in your house, jakes-mum. Pwahh! :(

An amazing total so far, e4rub, though you really don't need to put the total on here.

Awww, bless your DD1, mumof3plusoh, a great amount for you so far.

Excellent going KONG, good to see you again too.

You're doing so well, Kerry! :D

Again folks...have a really lovely weekend, drop of rain maybe, but this IS Britain. :D

  • Hi potters, potter not my fav name at moment,,have dyed my hair black and had it cut into a long bob,,the kids & oh calling me proffessor snape from the harry potter films  pah!! I really do look like him :(:(

Anyhow ignoring oh and kids I just put £2 into my pot my total is healthy and am sooo proud of it!! first time saver here I know i keep mentioning it but I am thrilled!
I may empty in dec but just had the most wonderful offer made to me,,,my mum is in the phillipines she is a volunteer for a charity who work with kids who live and work on rubbish dump, anyhow she has been out there since feb and not home till feb 2012,,the offer has come as a complete surprise, it is for someone paying for my return flight to go visit her out there as a surprise!! I am shocked! so my savings in my pot will be going towards that trip if I accept,,how do u say yes to an offer like that? that really doesnt happen in my life!! I have spoken to oh and kids who all say GO! My almost 70yr old mum would be thrilled to show me all the children and families she works with and they feed.
So my saving continues,,have a great weekend all :):)
Life happens when you are busy making other plans ;)
