  • morning everyone,

well managed to leave the pot alone until half hour ago.

grand total is £306.68p member no 1323:j

really pleased with myself, going to text DH shortly with the grand total. i banked £140 of this in the summer and have decided to leave it in the savings for emergencys. that leaves us with £166.68 to play with.

I didnt have a particular target but enough money to have a nice night out over christmas and some spare cash to spend a little if we want to. Think i may 'donate' £50 to DD when she comes home from uni for christmas, no doubt she will not have much if anything left by then. DH and me are going to book a nice meal which will be around £50 for food and drinks for the two of us, then enough left to take dad and dd to our local cheapy carvery sometime too. well thats my plan but will run it by DH later on. so i think i have achieved my goal. Last few years we have had no money spare to go anywhere in December aat all.

Thanks sue and you helpers for running this and please put me in for next year too.

good luck and congratulations to all who have yet to count and those who have already announced. :rotfl:

Oh dear, Observer, that was such an uplifting and encouraging post, I read it all out to my DH through teary moments, he thought the same as me...it was beautiful. :kisses3: Thank you so very much for the lovely words and very well done indeed on all you've saved!!!:T

You're so welcome to include all the rest you've saved though, many others do, so why not! I do so know what you mean about the Grand Total part (Total too) having the importance to warrant capitalizing, I love it!!! :D

Very well done, Observer, yours is a post that will live on in my memory as it includes everyone in YOUR time, so to speak, and loving thoughts!!! :grinheart

Hi findingmyfeet and I'm so thrilled you're delighted with your Total. Brilliant work :T and what a lovely way to be spending much of it to include you ALL. Another teary (in a great way) post, good to see you literally are finding your feet! ;)

I want you ALL to know right now, that for many reasons, taking on SPC was one of the best things I've ever done, apart from marrying my DH and having the kiddies and grandkiddies.
    Thank You one and ALL
