Classic traveler trick. As stated above they'll offer you far less for it when you get there, thats if they don't just take it. Its probably only 2 miles from his illegal campsite. They've lost nothing, and you've wasted half a day and about £35 in fuel.

Never reduce it until they ask like SB said if you reduce it now they will reduce again. As for driving 160 miles I would but like I said they would have to compensate for the inconvenience and I wouldn't be taking the bus or going alone.

If they really want it though they will come.
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

Like Rich said above, how do you know he is actually driving the same miles as you, he could live just round the corner from the meeting point which means he is just getting you to deliver i too him and he does nothing. Personaly i wouldnt deliver i would wait and hopefully someone else will come view at your home.

If he's keen on the van he will drive to see it.

Would you phone up Curry's and ask them to bring the 60inch TV half way so you can see if you like it?

I'm near Southampton and I've twice had buyers come from Wales to buy my motorcycles and another guy came from London to buy a car. So if they want it they will come.
