    Hi Everyone

Good Posture - I remember attending a lecture on how to look after your back (can you imagine how exciting that was) and I will always remember the lady telling us a very simple yet effective way to straighten your back. Whether sitting or standing imagine a hand has grabbed your hair from the top of your head and pulled it upwards, That motion of raising your head will staighten your back, funnily enough we were all slouching and snoozing through the rest of the 2.5 hour lecture...

I've not done too well on the glamourising due to work but will do some pampering tonight. I'm getting my hair done on Wednesday and will try get my eyebrows tidied.

I also have to get measured for some new bras, I've lost weight recently, unfortunately not from my @ss...

i would love to be able to buy a bra for £10 ... that would be heaven to me ... sadly with the size i am i have never been able to get anything for less than £30 and those £30 ones arnt that great ... i tend to need atleast a rigby pellier ( i think they are called) or a fantasie bra ... this is because i am huge and heavy busted i am a size 34 HH yes i am heavy but even when i was a size 12 i was a 32 GG so sadly losing weight doesnt make my bust shrink ....

I'm with you...except I can't wait to get back into wired bras...b/f at the moment, so yucky nursing bras.

    Hello Fellow Fashionistas

So many new names and faces. So nice you could all stop by. A very warm welcome to you all.

What can I say - come Christmas there are going to be some real Crackers out there. Watch out men of Britain - you won't know what's hit you.:D

Some great tips, support and advice there.

Elantan - your bra woes sound truly awful - you must be in so much pain. People often joke about large bosomed ladies but there's no doubt in my mind that being over-generously endowed can cause a lot of grief and be extremely
    painful.

I too cannot bear to wear underwired bras, haven't touched them for years. The best bra for me is the Triumph Doreen - even then I have to remove the "stays" at the side because they jab me. Not the prettiest bra it has to be said.

Would the "cross & separate" type suit you - you know the old Playtex one. Are Playtex still around. That is what the Doreen is based on.

Well I'm having an extremely lazy day today, a real holiday - have done absolutely nothing. The most strenuous thing so far has been playing on here.

Had a light lunch with sis, too hot for the posh restaurant so we just nipped into a little bistro and had a very naughty stilton/apple combo. Yummy.

Aren't some people just unbelievably kind.

My sister has the Advantage of working in a well known high street chemist;). Her boss, who I have never even met, has sent me the most gorgeous pack of pampering goodies. There's some perfume, Flora by Gucci, some Champneys bubbles, a Sanctuary travel pack of bath goodies, and a set of Protect & Perfect goodies, in addition to four lipsticks, several trial sizes of foundation, some eyeshadows and a D&G make up bag. I feel so humbled that a complete stranger would do such a kind thing for me.

Back later to talk about inspiration..............Time to get the dinner ready for DS2 - do the good mummy thing.

can I join in too- a few weeks ago I had the moment when you realise you have to do something about myself - I saw my reflection & wondered who this fat woman was as she had really let herself go & then realised it was me - since then I have lost 7lbs and had my hair done,I also found out I am to be a gran in Jan :D & don't want to be a fat granny - it was bad enough being a fat Mum
proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl

i'm not sure tbh but i am willing to give anything a try ... when you come to be my size you have to forgo the pleasure of lovely bras anyway .... no such thing as a slinky thin strap .... i truthfully dont really care what they look like either ... i am more interested in support and comfort ... so if they were pokadot etc i wouldnt mind .... i think i will maybe try and get one next week as i am basically surviving in my sports bra and am having to wash it every night ... so if i get a new one then i have a change atleast and can just wear the underwired ones if i really need to

being big busted isnt fun for me ... it never has been fun for me but i think it would be more manageable if my shoulder wasnt as !!!!ed as it is ... if i dont have a properly fitted bra i can get severe back pain which believe me aint fun

Kerry Wow you do mean business - don't fret over Friday and Saturday - it happens. You're back on track now and that's what counts. Your Boots shopathon sounds great. Good plan for next week!

I really do mean business, I'm getting married in 8 weeks so the countdown is on!

Today drank 2L water, did 30 mins on the cross trainer, body brushed, moisturised, nail strengthner & oil, flossed and did my foot file and moisturiser. Feels good to be in control.

I've had to re-do my nails as they had chipped (2 days - not sure if it's the new top coat or my dire application - we'll see :) ) so now I've go Essie "Island Hopping" on which is even pinker than last time, so I'm a bit more feminine!

I went to a BBQ at my parents yesterday with OH and the children and Mum took some lovely pictures. Unfortunately, I look like a Heifer in them so I'm quite down about myself today :( Still, I guess I should focus on the fact that I'm working on improving it all.

Meant to add - elf cosmetics (https://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk) have a 50% off code on their landing page - valid until 29th I think. Site is very very slow though. Prices are bargainous anyway, so worth a punt ;)

WOW! I can see I shall need to check in daily other wise I shall spend all my time reading the posts and not have time to write one :o
I'ts wonderful to see more people joining daily.

Elantan, I also have trouble with finding a comfortable bra! I tend to stick with M&S but have to make sure the straps are not too thin, I am amazed how some of the big cup sizes have such thin ones, how can one get any support? I could never got on with wired bra's but some of my well endowed friends swear by them. A friend of mine had her name put on the NHS list (many years ago) for breast reduction, she suffered terrible back ache. Fifteen years later she came to the top of the NHS list :rotfl: and said it was the best decision she made. If I win the lottery :rotfl: I shall have it done too!

Today I managed to exfoliate from head to toes, slathered on lots of lotion, mini pedicure and manicure, feel better already.
Going out tomorrow so will wear a little make up and perfume:whistle:

To hot to cook so salad again with new pots and haricot beans..yum.

OK, I'm going to watch some TV before bed.

    Keep up the good work

    Carmen xxxx
