Take from this what you will but most opinions on the Police Force in UK will be formed on people personal perceptions and experiences.

My DD came home from school a couple of weeks ago having been called a 'two face little cow' by her friends mum. My dd is 12 btw

I decided to go down to her and talk to her about it upon which she exploded into a rage at me admitting what she had said and that my daughter had been picking on hers so on and so forth....she hadnt but the the two girls had had a fall out and my daughter didnt want to now hers.

Now I did tell this girls mum if she was a man id not have spoken to her and she would be picking her teeth up but other than that line which was after alot of her shouting at me I kept my temper.

Fast forward 15 minutes and I get a knock at the door from 2 plain clothed police women who advise me they had a call from someone who had witnessed our arguement and as they were passing they thought they would check it out.

Now the most interesting part was that they said and I quote 'If we had not been passing by no one would have come round to be honest, we just wouldnt have bothered'

In fairness in this case they wouldnt have needed to really but for some nosey neighbour sticking their 'ooter in. But i think the wording of the sentance does leave a lot to be desired and the perception it gives was not great!

But these wasn't loading unless the van driver was loading his face with a greggs paste, some was blue badge holders so i guess they parked their so they could be closer to the market.

Let me get this right......You've had a screaming fishwife chavtastic slanging match in the street, during which you have said to your 'opponent', that if she had been a man you would have committed grevious bodily harm to her by smashing her teeth out in retaliation for her being rude to your daughter, and you'r complaining about the polices attitude and how the perception they give to people is not great!!!!!!??????

Not quite what i said...I was just going to ask her to speak to me if she had an issue with my dd's behaviour...i didnt raise my voice until it was quite clear it was the only way I was going to get heard. At which point after she had isulted my 12 year old daughter by calling her a !!!!ing !!!!! i chose to tell her she should think herself lucky she is female as I dont hit women and I walked away.

Think of me what you wish I couldnt care less but when the police are called there are ways and means of them dealing with things and to tell me they wouldnt have bothered responding has they not been driving past me door makes me wonder how quick they would arrived had I been a chev-tastic fish wife and actually smashed her face in.

But so long as you have your opinion of me I am sure youll sleep well at night...Me however Ill be tossing and turning worrying about it....:p
