    I think the OP is in a very strong position to claim the full refund plus additional expenses.
  • I don't suppose anyone knows if I have a definitive case that I can make against him? I took lots of pictures and have all the emails.

    And I did clean some of it - but after 5 hours and then finding thick black mould in the bathroom and then an urn by the bedside in the master bedroom we really thought enough was enough!

    Do you have any evidence that the accommodation was unsafe?

  • We have found out that we have legal cover with a bank account and they have advised that they will review to see if we have a case :)
