Hello everyone

I know this is the techie stuff of the forum but i was i was wondering does anyone know were i could get a good price for my macbooks i am thinking of selling. I have 2 macbooks, the following has these specs

I know some people will say ebay but i am not sure plus i do not want to sell them and get ripped off ect, also and since i am in europe at the minuite i dont want to sell them at places like cash converters ect when i get back to the U.k in a few weeks time.

Does anyone know any good sites or places that pay quite well with less risk for macbooks ect

Thanks in advance, I'll post some pics up later also

You could try hotukdeals - lets you sell / exchange / barter and all.
I will give you a fiver - ta.

Some of the mobile retails (carphonewarehouse) have trade-ins for laptops but offer peanuts - and also the mobile trade in companies will buy laptops too (again do not offer much).

    Hotukdeals is best option.

Ebay. People are paying silly money. I've sold hundreds of laptops on Ebay from £100 to over £600 and never had an issue.

You really need to check your specs before you sell. There's no such thing as a white Macbook with a 15" screen, and no such thing as a black MacBook Pro, just from a casual glance...

Regardless of your photos, I'm sure that Apple never made a 15" macbook, nor a black macbook pro. Whatever you have there has been modified after it left the Apple factory, possibly just by snapping a case like the black speck case onto the outside.

  • Especially since it still has warranty for a short while, why not take it to an authorised Apple reseller and see if they'll buy it from you. There's a market for reconditioned Macs and smaller retailers will often take a look at least.

Yes funny you just asked that i have just been speaking to Apple on the Phone so worth a look what they can offer.
