Been over to Bury market this morning and bought some fish. My DS1 is going to make us a fish curry which I have never tried before. He is really suffering with awful Hayfever at the moment. We bought some tablets for him to try from the chinese herbalist as we have tried everything the chemist has to offer. Does anybody have any suggestions as its making his life a misery at the moment:(

Not very MSE but if all else fails, get him to the Drs and ask for the super-strength Piriton tablets - they are prescription only, but very good! I'm currently on 2 supermarket antihistamines a day rather than one, despite living at the seaside my hayfever is very bad this year, and I can't find any really local honey either :(

Julie67........ I get my antihistimines (loratadine) on prescription and they really help.

Doctors tomorrow because foot and ankle have not gone down at all and the diuretics he gave me don't seem to make me pee any more than normal (sorry if TMI)

Started knitting again for the winter but hands only allow me to do one or two rows at a time and then they seize up and I have to leave it for half an hour before I can pick it up again :(

Had chicken stew tonight.... would you believe it in June!

Going back to yesterdays thread. Those asking about Reynauds. I used to have it really badly but was recommended Ginko Biloba 100mg. Since starting to take that it has improved drastically. DH was very sceptical (a surgeon who doesn't really get the alternative rememdies thins) but even he agrees its made a huge difference.

thanks for that Cat - I'll look into it!:T

Tired Mum - well done on the job:T:j

JackieO - (((hugs))) so sorry to hear about your brother but it sounds like he's a real fighter to have survived so much already! x x

Flutterby - hope you feel happier tomorrow x x x

had a lovely day out with DH although dont think I'll be rushing back to Rhyl. He persuaded me to buy some leggings - still not convinced about them:cool:
This evening we've been to the party at the pub - free BBQ and it was great but too cold for me so we came home plus we're tired abfter our day out.

DS1 is having relationship problems again:( wish they'd just make their minds up what they want!

off for a soak now so take care all x
    Do what you love :happyhear
