I spend a couple of hours each evening comping or if I get carried away a bit longer. Once you win something, you get hooked! You have to be in it to win it
You'll find that as you get into it, you'll find shortcuts on entering competitions much more efficiently. Keep at it as that big win might be just round the corner!
Good luck!!YOU'VE GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT :j:j0 -
I manage to do around 90 mins a day on average ,but rarely in one sitting not had any really big prizes mainly books and DVDs , also make-up and the likes for the wife which i am more than pleased with..
Just keep plugging away , get Roboform , makes life easier , anyway Good Luck in the future ..0 -

Agree, just keep plugging away, think I probably do between 50 to 100 but dont keep count. Definitely worth it though, but dont just do comps for big things or cash, as the small wins encourage you to keep going and can save you money too.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I've only been comping for a couple of months but have had some fab wins. Most of my luck has been on Facebook. There's also some fab comps on Twitter but I'm starting to become disheartened with that as the same people seem to win all the big prizes on Twitter. I'm slightly dubious of the supposedly random draws! Anyway, if you haven't signed up to Facebook or Twitter yet for comps then do so!
August wins: Jessica Chivers coaching session, Bacardi welly, Nails Inc polish x 2, Aerobie, Simple Eyes pack, Disney Jr cinema tix, Heinz BBQ Sauces, Models Own mascara, Anchor memorabilia x 2, Lipsy necklace, Cushelle Koala x 2, Andrex Puppy, digital skills kit, play tent, tix for National History Museum, sweet vouchers, Paul Mitchell serum0 -
It all depends. I sneak in a few at work but work full time and these are few and far between as busy. Go out a lot in the eve but manage to do half an hour here and there and the eves I do stay in I sit in front of the tv and do as much as I can. I have good months (never amazing like some of the people on here as I just don't have the time) but also have rubbish months. I love it when I win.
I see it as I am only in front of the tv anyway so not losing anything but I would never stay in to comp or cancel things to comp.
I try to win things I need or I can give as gifts. I have sold a few things as well but not much as it's a bit of a faff!
Good luck!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
I've just started myself and haven't had any wins yet. I'm wondering if it takes some time to get into it. For example; How long does it take to be notified of a win? Is there any pattern to when WEMs come out - weekdays 9-5? Hoping that some more experienced compers can give us some guidance on these.
I'm taking all the advice above and will give it a few months at least, will keep my fingers crossed for you too. Thanks to everyone who posts their wins - it's lovely to hear about your good luck and gives the rest of us hope!

When I was a teenager I used to do about 5 hours a day and only ever won a trip to new york (in my eyes, it was all worth it!).
Now I must do about 90 minutes a day and have won a good few times. I try to only enter things I'd like to win or give to someone special as I've won some things I'd never use and that's just not fair on other people who can have won them.
I don't comp for profit so not one for winning and selling - I comp to save money. I won a camera and as I was going to buy one this year it saved me a couple of hundred pounds and it was a better camera than I would have bought myself!2011 - Great year for me, very lucky to win all sorts of great things including a Camera, TV, numerous tickets and some wine!
2012 - So far... 2 cinema tickets, 1 x DVD, 2 x Blu-Rays
:TThanks to everyone who posts competitions on here:T0 -
