V21 free dial-up !!!!

I've just found out the V21 free dial up isn't free after all
I can't find where I got the number from yet, but I'm using the number 08456041190............and it aint free
I must have got it from a letter or email but I cant find where from  My bill is gonna be around £55
It's no wonder BT sent me a letter wanting to up the monthly DD to £38...I nearly had a heart attack !

Does anyone else know where this number came from .......it has to be either from in here, a letter or email

it's probably the 'free' dialup number that Biscit was giving out to everyone...

    0845 numbers are never free.

Everyone who has followed this saga is aware of the problems there have been (which, to varying degrees, continue). There have been all sorts of problems.

When V21 (i.e. now Biscit CSP) first got customers transferred form Fast4 it was found (without going into all the details - you can read all about them in the other threads) that access ceased via the freephone number. V21 provided the 0845 number (in fact, more than one was provided) so that customers could, if they chose, obtain paid access to the net while V21 sorted out the free number.

With all the things that can fairly be said about the V21 service to date I really don't think they can be blamed for people continuing to use what was clearly stated to be a temporary paid option.

The freephone number is 08089933025 but you may need to contact them to obtain a password and/or have your user account details reinstated: you may need luck to get that done, or at least without having a long wait.
