Well I know what you're all saying about the lottery wins, but as a gambling addict this is a bit of a sore point for me. My gambling started with taking bonuses and got worse from there. Anyway, this is all way off topic, so I apologise...

To MissKayTee - thanks for the link - didn't even know that thread existed...

I hope the link helps, it's always nice to hear about/speak to others in the same situation.

:oI took a look over on the Competions board, but their "getting started" thread to me sounds rather complicated :o
Does anyone here do the comps board?

I've dipped in and out of it. It's a lot of effort and you aren't guaranteed to get anything back so it's only really worth doing if you enjoy it.
If you do want to give it a go then the best thing you can do is download RoboForm - It is a toolbar that sits on your screen (just like the google/yahoo/whatever toolbar). You basically fill in a form with all of your details; name, address, phone number, email address, website log in details, bank and card details. Then whenever you need to fill something in you can just click a button on the bar and it fills it all in for you. http://www.roboform.com/how-it-works/overview It really is a must for comping as it saves so much time. Even if you don't comp it is still a great time saver, especially for passwords and bank card details.

The only other thing you really need to know is that entering comps more than once (easy to do by accident if you enter loads - some people do 150 a day!!!) can disqualify your entries. Most people use the thanks button to keep tabs on this, as it is an easy way to check whether you've already looked at the page.

Well I got a free fiver from Tesco today, plus a 5p off fuel voucher that I didn't deserve! :)

I bought a car seat, and used one of the £5 off a £50 shop till spits. As I spent over £50 I also got a petrol voucher. I then found out that the car seat was £10 cheaper on Tesco Direct, so took the seat back for a refund.
They refunded me the full price of the car seat! :D So I still got the £5 voucher discount and got to keep the petrol voucher, even though I'd only actually spent £12 once the seat was refunded. :T

Adding £5 now, and will add the petrol savings once I've spent it. Got another petrol voucher for the Princes Tuna so will add that (minus the extra money I spent on Princes tuna over my usual brand) too. I'm saving them for when we go on holiday as that's the only time I'll fill my tank to the top.
  • I have received 3 books today for review from the publisher. I run a book blog and get lots of free books for review. Just wondering if I should include this as well, because I have saved money I suppose getting them for free.

Well I've made £6.50 profit by selling 3 old DVDs (after those theiving bar-stewards at ebay and paypal took their respective fees, and after paying for postage and packaging). Not bad though - considering that musicmagpie would have paid me 30p each for the DVDs. I've still got some other stuff listed on ebay, one of which has a bid.

Lol, have just worked out my saving for the fuel vouchers - £2.35 for the free one :D, and ... erm, 15p for the tuna one!!! (19p if you count the clubcard points I'll get for buying it :p).

£6 Luncheon vouchers from Pinecone on the doormat today and Saturday.
£14.73 to add from Ebay as well.
I know I have just over £30 on Crowdology to cash out, about £20 something in Surveyhead, and £30 in Pureprofile, so will get them sorted out later on when I have a bit more time to give me a bit of a boost!

Very slow start to the month for me :(
