nothing for me today yet. My ebay listings dont finish for another couple of days, got some good bids on them so far though.
As for the scratch card thing...I found £1 on the street and decided to buy a scratch card with it. Won £1 on it, got another with the £1, won £1 on it, got another, won another £1, got another then won £20.
I've never played the lottery in my life, but since I found £1 I thought why not buy a scratch card. Seems like it paid off to me.0 -
Updated post 3 with everyone that has joined recently.
Some great moneymaking already!0 -
Off to a cracking start already...
£5 x 2 - Halifax Reward
£152.52 - Tax refund paid to DH... since I was the one that discovered the error (thanks, Martin! :money:), and bugged him to chase it up over the past eight months, DH is giving me half of the 305.05 refund. Woot!
oh, AND, I sold a book on Amazon, though will wait until after I post it to figure my profit...R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0 -
My ancient old DVDs are selling much better than I thought. Perhaps I should have put the Buy-it-now higher than £2.50. Will update my total once I know how much the postage is going to cost (and I need to go to poundland for some more padded envelopes)...0

Ebay sales ended last night with NO bids on any of the 12 items
I'll reduce the start price a little and relist
Ive had a rather lazy weekend, and not got round to any new listings, so i'll have to get on with that at some point today
On a plus note, i went to the carboot yesterday for a "browse" and bought myself a lovely silver necklace for £4, when i got it home i weighed it and it would scrap in at approx £20, but its a keeper, at least for now :rotfl:
Again, not having any luck with surveys
I took a look over on the Competions board, but their "getting started" thread to me sounds rather complicated
Does anyone here do the comps board?
Grrr @ Mr Ts...... Just a general moan about how my weekly shopping bill is going up each week! We tend to buy a lot of the same items each week, we all know prices are increasing but some of the things we buy are jumping up 30p, 50p, £1 from one week to the next ~ Shocking!
Old style & coupon threads here i come!!
Enough Moaning, im actually :j The Padders thread, along with this one are really working well together at the moment, and the overdraft is decreasing nicely, im trying to pay as much as possible before the kids break up from school!
Some really great Moneymakers already , keep up the good work :TEveryday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -

Feeling slightly daunted as I've just seen Im down for £30 a day! EEK! I've got some pretty pennies on their way to me soon from my students this week, they leave on Thursday and I'll be sad to see them go-they've been great fun! Have 10 days off from students from the 7th so will thrash ebay and car boots, havent been able to do any whilst they were here and I have to clear the carp out of my room before I get my 1st foster child in 2 weeks! Hehe so excited!
Ooh just had a nosey in my account and Inland rev have been kind enough to DOUBLE my CTCredit for the last 2 weeks! Should I add it?! Nah, that's too easy...:D
