looking for a dirt cheap phone

basically what the title says!
am going away in the summer and dont really want to use my BB as id rather buy a cheap basic phone than panic that i havent turned off data properly! also if a cheap phone gets nicked doesnt matter as much!

only want a basic one - just for texting/calling. preferably on orange (used orange when away before so i know ill get service) but another network that will be fine in majorca will also be ok

have had a look on carphone warehouse website but wanted to see if was anything cheaper as will just be a holiday/spare phone. i know before people have found phones for a few pence plus topup but cant remember where!

If you go to Walmart/ASDA you can pick one up for about a tenner. I did.

You can get a basic phone at tesco for £10, sim free, ideal for hols, whilst abroad, the roaming will be via the local networks, or you could get a telefonica payg sim whilst on hols which may work out cheaper.
But well done for considering the costs before you go rather than the usual post bragging of silly roaming bills .

I can't remember the name of the website but there's a site that sometimes has phones on it for £10 including a free £10 credit.

Just remembered I bookmarked the site actually! Never ordered so don't know what they're like although i've heard they're okay. maybe someone else could confirm? but here's the site with an orange phone that i just found on there:

thanks, that 1p phone looks good - obviously dont want to spend a fortune if the phone wont get used much!
anyone used the site and know what its like?
had a look online at reviews and they seem mixed - although reviews for buying PAYG phones all seem good - just with contracts people seem to have had problems!

it's a nokia 1800,very slim,durable and long talk time with flashlight, it's only 4.95 with 10 quid credit, but you can use topcashback/quidco to save more. best deal I can see.
