Talkmobile - can you check MB balance?

I wondered if anyone knew about Talkmobile? My son has just signed up to their £8 a month sim only contract which gives 500MB of data on his mobile. When he checks the balance, from the 5888 number, it only tells him how many minutes and texts he has left not MB. I have Virgin and that tells you how many MB. He doesn't want to risk going over his allowance so will revert to Virgin if he can't check his usage. He has emailed them but I thought this may be quicker! Thanks.

What phone is it? I've got an android handset and have downloaded an app called 3G watchdog which monitors my data usage.

My son has an android handset - HTC Desire. I'll get him to download it. Thanks for the advice.

Which plan are you on. The 1 month or 6 month??

Hi. There is currently an operational fix being put in place to include the Data usage info on the new SIM only plans - although it won't be up and running for a little while. In the meantime you can call 5888 and speak with an agent who will be able to help.
