Parking fines on what i believe is our land

If it has parking restrictions on the road marked, you need to separate the land from the highway, this is now case law
see here

That case only applies to private land which has public access.... A point which the writer was very quick to skip over.
Now, how you define "public access".... This is another matter

I guess I parked there and i suppose that not knowing the laws isnt an excuse.
Its quite disgraceful, seems like they are just trying to make a profit instead of using common sense to enforce decent laws.0 -
Are you looking for us to disagree ? it stinks.I guess I parked there and i suppose that not knowing the laws isnt an excuse.

Maybe worth pointing out to who is responsible for the car park.
However that does not detract that the ticket may have been incorrectly issued, scan both sides and blank out reg and head over to https://www.pepipoo.com

Solution = Park on private land and remove or cover up your number plates.
They CANNOT ticket a car with no number plates and they're not allowed to tamper with a vehicle to do so (or so I heard on this very forum)

One of these is easier

The earth needs us for nothing.

Seriously - The Land Registry can provide plans and copies of agreements, provided the land has changed hands since registration became compulsory for conveyancing, or has been voluntarily registered even if it hasn't changed hands. £4 for an agreement, £4 for a title plan via the website. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

If its just a wheel that is offending then it should come under De Minimis, get on over to Pepipoo.com and post this on there. They are a site dedicated to helping motorists fight this sort of stupid ticket.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
