BP 50p car wash (worth £6)

Worked fine in Upton Way, Northampton. Cashier scanned voucher and it discounted. I did buy £60 + of fuel as well - not sure if that helps. Did wonder if overall it would have been cheaper at Tesco's as BP is not usually the cheapest fuel around!
Has anyone just walked in, paid 50p for a car wash, but not bought fuel?0 -
I went to my local participating BP LEYTON garage a hour ago and the duty manager refused to honour the wash. At first he thought it was 50p off the cost of a wash and when I stated that it was a wash FOR 50p,he refused saying the voucher is not right as we have to give it to you and you cannot print it online....to say I was fuming is to put it mildly. I told him it was from BP's own website and offered to show it to him on my iphone but he was not interested:mad:
Anyway, I took down his name and I would just liketo know if anyone has any suggestions on where to take it from here??
Your help would be much appreciated.......
My advice would be to get over it and move on...Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.

Before paying the 50p join the Q then refuse to pay more than 50p, all carwashes damage cars if driven through whilst not in use!!!!!
I've got 20 printed out ready to hand out to other customers whilst talking to manager!!!0 -
I took my voucher to the BP Connect at Glasgow Airport today, where not only was the voucher accepted immediately, the female cashier could not have been friendlier, saying that I would be wanting the top wash and all with a cheery smile.:)
I only wish everyone else had received this kind of service. Well done BP Glasgow Airport ! :TBefore paying the 50p join the Q then refuse to pay more than 50p, all carwashes damage cars if driven through whilst not in use!!!!!
How do they damage the cars? I'm can't think how this would happen.0 -

My DH has yesterday. No problems with getting the wash but he said it left the car still dirtyPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I got my wash today
but its not a patch on a hand job - not worth the 5min wait in the car imho; unless youve been offroading and are caked its a waste of time0 -

Used mine at the Longman, Inverness. No problem, did not buy anything else. SA said he had sold a good few. It gave a good wash, and DS04 was well chuffed! Loves/terrified of carwashes.;)0

Going to try and use mine tomorrow, fingers crossed. I am ashamed to admit that I have never driven through a car wash! No idea what to do. LOL
