T Mobile PAYG Balance reducing without using phone

I have a T Mobile pay as you go mobile. for a while now I have been thinking that after I have topped up my money seems to be going quite quickly and I do not use my phone that much.

Yesterday I put a £5 top up voucher on my phone this gave a balance of £5.07 I sent 3 text messages and that left a balance of £4.85 I checked this a couple of times during the evening by dialing 150 from my mobile which I believe is free the balance was still £4.85
This morning I checked and it was £4.71 and again checked when I got to work and this time the balance was £4.07 but I know I have not made any calls, received any calls or sent any text messages.

Has anyone come across this before??

Thanks

A quick looks shows its got a home screen weather widget, that could be updating as much as every hour or so.

Have you set up email? what about apps that auto update?

yes i do have a weather widget on my screen but I don't know how to get rid of it - my battery has just died on phone so I will have to wait until I get home to recharge it.

    thanks
