It's funny you should say that, I went round and collected up all of the lightbulbs, they were all the energy saving ones which last 15 years so not cheap and I needed some in my new place. I will replace some with tesco value, but as it is a buy to let he can whistle for the rest.
I do hope yours gets sorted soon, I am so glad it's almost over with, it was a pretty stressful time and it really didn't need to be.:A

This guy just doesn't give up (my buyer that is lol). Now he is causing a right fuss because he thought the washing machine was included in the sale price. My agent told him to stuff off, the details said there was plumbing for a washing machine, it isn't fitted so it isn't included. The buyer said.. well it was in the photos... yeah mr buyer so was my leather sofa, tv and if you look close enough at the outside photo you can see my car!
Now the buyer is speaking to his solicitor with a view to pulling out because of it. I really see the funny side of this now, if he wants to pull out and face the financial penalty for it over a washing machine (which I only charged £50 on the inventory) then so be it. There is no way on earth I would give it to him unless it was in 3000 pieces scattered all over the house.
Oh it is so tempting to buy a bunch of cress seeds, scatter them all over the carpets and water well for the next few days, by mid next week he should have a lovely new green carpet:rotfl::A

Some people eh.
Tell him to pull out then and youll get 10%. Fair recompense for what youve been put through I reckon! :money::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Some people just don't understand the value of retaining a sellers goodwill do they? Just make sure that whatever "gifts" you leave he can't actually sue you as a result - sounds like just the type. Perhaps the washing machine will be beyond repair?? That way he'll have to shift it
