Do you think I'll be able to get this loan

if you can afford the £230 per month, why do you have a £400 balance on a credit card?:beer:0

Boiler breaks down.
Gas cover was too much.
Roof leaks, thats maintenance m'laddo.
Please, please do not underestimate the cost of owning your own home.Sealed pot challange no: 3390 -
Poster - i wish you all the best .
but i think your finances is a time bomb - to explode at a later date. if you dont make some serious adjustments
you are surely living beyond your means -I owe £3233 @ 0%0 -
The same could be said of a mortgage - who knows what the situation will be in 30 years?
You have a 30 mortgage?
Anyway, it's not the same, cars depreciate, houses generally don't. I think that's what chalkie99 meant i.e. if you get into trouble, you can sell the house and hopefully make enough to cover the mortgage. Once you have the car, it's already worth less than you paid for it.0 -
I...must...resist...the...urge......
it's no good, I'm too weak.
No, you won't get that loan.
What happens when the interest rate increases on your mortgage? The payments could easily go up 50% or more in the next few years
What happens when the car goes wrong, or the house?
Do you really want to work for almost the whole first week in every month to pay for the car, then most of the second week to pay for the insurance and maintenance?
What on earth are you doing buying a car that costs 80% of your annual income?
Have you seen all the posts on here from people complaining after a couple of years that their outstanding car loan has hardly gone down at all and it is much more than their depreciated and no longer wanted car is worth?
No, you won't get that loan.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
With respect I think I'm in a better position to know what I can and can't afford than you guys. I'm not taking on a mortgage on my own, it's with my girlfriend. I know exactly how much the mortgage and the bills are going to cost and with this car payment on top of all that I know I'll still have 40% of my wages left to spend and save.
As for the loan I was originally asking about, I get the picture - I'm not going to get it so I'm not going to bother trying.0 -
