I love these holidays so have just e-mailed The Sun to let them know i have moved house so hopefully i will get the priority booking form so thanks OP for the reminder. I alsways end up going to Butlins (fantastic) but fancy trying something a bit different but don't know where to go for. Have to wait and see what parks will be available!

How do you get a priority booking form,is it if you have booked a Sun holiday before?

    hi

anyone that has booked this before, how much extra does it really end up costing? i 'felt' a bit stung when i booked the £15 daily mail one and ended up paying a fortune in compulsory extras. but i do like the idea of a cheapy holiday.

You get a priority booking form when you have booked through them before.

When i got to Butlins it usually costs around £100.00 in total (on the £9.50 breaks). That includes all enertainment and appartment. If you have small children then this free entertainment will be enough for them. I only usually spend around £180.00 whilst there (including petrol + photos with characters and food etc).

However, you can get parks where there is a very low service charge and free entertainment which reduces the cost quite significantly. I have never stayed in one of these parks so cannot give any opinions on them.

This time around it's cost us £60 (£15 x 4 nights) plus £1.80 card surcharge
and £44.50 for the ferry, as we are going to the I.O.W.

    Grand total £106.30

No other extra's - entertainment is included and we take our own bedding!

    BARGAIN!! :money:

Yes i think you do pay for linen usually don't quote me on that though. This was included on my £100.00 estimate.
Don't usually look for the upgrades because i have small children i find it helps to bring them back to somewhere calm for an hour to recharge so i can't help with that sorry.
On the Sun website it says triy to pick four dates and four parks but five if you can. I don't know if it would work if you chose the same park but tried four different dates. (can't seem why not). When i first tried The Sun holidays i sent my form off the same day and received my first choice. (maybe i was lucky)

I have fancied the Isle of White for a while. Maybe i will give it a shot. Kids would love the boat.
  • Hi thanks for the heads up re the the sun holidays. I went with a friend of mine last month to Clacton on Sea and I have never known a bargain like it. We even opted for no bedding but they still left it! Amazing price! Im away when this promotion starts again. Can anyone tell me how many vouchers you need and how long they print vouchers for? Thanks!!
