sony ericsson k700i unlock problem

i have recently been given an unlocked se k700i, but for some reason it rejects my orange sim (which works in every other phone i have).

all the padlocks are open in the sim lock section of the service menu. it was an o2 payg handset as it has an o2 icon in the main menu.

it works on o2 and vodafone

EDIT: just realized it wont work with my tmobile sim either! :mad:

explain "rejects my orange sim".

if the padlocks are open but you cannot make a call them its probably barred.

1. it displays insert sim

2.i can make calls to the credit line on vodafone and o2

i can also ring the phone

have you tried a full factory reset?
