I had this a few years ago with LTSB, said if they needed to know I had my card on me, they should wait til I spent the money and said I'd go into the branch to verify their call, funnily enough I never heard from them again.

Why not play a game with these scammers ,give them fictitious numbers.Play it as though you want to help them. Then take it with a pinch of salt ,refer it to your bank ,tell them what you have done and let them act upon the info ,then make sure you buy a shredder.

Actually, for any Visa debit or credit card, it's the first six that identify the issuer.

So they only need to guess the other two numbers - 100 combinations?
