Morning all, not a bad day here really.

abby1234519 - welcome and good luck, had to laugh at "Won't eat or be in the room with Salmon.". lol
Is that live ones or dead ones??

Only spent 65p yesterday on a Sainsbury's large bloomer. Froze about 1/3 in slices and should not need bread until the end of the week as I'll probably bake anyway.
Made carrot and coriander soup for today and making a small sausage casserole to use up veg on the way out. I'll only have 1/2 a nutternut squash, some frozen and tinned peas and frozen peeper along with the 3 bags of onions, so need veg this week.
Off to Morries soon for Brothers shopping and hoping for reduced veg, if not I'll wait a day or 2.
I was going to go to Tesco's today to use £2 off £20 coupon and some of other ones, but may wait until another day - trying to be frugal the 1st part of this week.
I put in an order for the cat food glitch to donate (no pets in our house apart from me!!). Probably get cancelled though!!

    Catch up later.

  • Good Morning :)

Didn't cost a thing at the hospital on Saturday as the machines were out of order! Result! I also found 50p in the glove compartment of my car which went towards the Fox's Christmas pudding from Sainsbury's, so technically a NSD on Saturday :) Yesterday, however, had to get bits from Pets at Home, Downtown and Asda and I think I spend out £20 all in so not too bad.

Making good headway through the free cereal, can't believe how many boxes we have haha. It's all good though, money is tight and any freebies or savings I can make will be grasped with both hands.

Decided to rejoin Weight Watchers, seeing as I am out of action for the foreseeable :( I don't want to sit and eat through boredom and my weigh creep up any more than it is already, so I have set myself a challenge - I need to drop a stone in 7 weeks (which takes us up to Christmas) it is doable I think. Will give me something to focus on :)

Have a good morning everyone :)

Hurry over 5 left (silly hubby took DD's lunchbox this morning rather than his own - he will be fuming when he finds a peanut butter sarnie rather than 2 pasties)

Bwahahaha! :rotfl: Sorry I cant help it - let us know how that turns out!

Not much going on today. Took a beef joint we were going to have for Xmas out of the outdoor freezer on Saturday, and DM cooked it yesterday with the pack of reduced runner beans I got Friday, also our free yorkshire puds :D and some parsnips. There's plenty left over to have cold at some point today or tomorrow.

Working my way through prepped meals in the freezer this week, taking one out each day so by Sunday I might need to go and hunt down some more things to separate and freeze for another two weeks worth of meals! DM mentioned about making shepherds pie or cottage pie to use up tinned carrots so we'll see if theres any over......

Going out today so will have to scoot - in a side note tried the blueberry bars from special k, very sweet but bearable :)

NSD so far, no reduced veg in Morries, shame as sometimes they do have reduced stuff mid-morning on a Monday.
They had a mountain of bread to reduce, but don't need bread!!

I'll try Sainsbury's tonight, forgot but I've got a 38p Brands Match voucher off the free Special K cereals. lol

    Freebies:
1 x WW Thai curry - gave to Brother
    3 x Special K cracker crisps

  • Afternoon all.

Just got back from a shop £3.84 spent, easily £15 worth of goods obtained. learned from the best lynsey lol!

Sainsburys have the mini roll glitch on, found strawberry and cinder toffee mini rolls, with 50p coupon, the rolls are only 30p so 20p for shopping :) also got half price colgate that was £1.27 paid 87p in total, thinking of going back for more, before they finish. oh and ww meal, 1p using coupon.

Waitrose i got a ww meal, 8 reduced pittas, apricot crossaints, pineapple and melon all slices reduced and 2 carex handwashes on bogof, used ww coupon and took £1 off my shop :) £2.97 to pay.
There were so many bargains to be had in mr w today, could have had 10 bagels for 70p, but remembered i have 10 in the freezer already, i was restrained, as i am trying to empty my freezer, nothing will be going in.

I have finally opened the quakers porridge, had 1 for breakfast, i didnt enjoy it as much as i used, will try it again, will have a piri piri ww meal for lunch, maybe some fruit and a jacket potato with the remainder of the chilli for dinner.

Need to take something out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow, my freezer is still packed, havent eaten much, as when i make meals they last a few days, add to that the abundance of ww meals and i really dont have to do much :)

    Welcome donnajt and abby1234519.

Thank you lynsey for the location of the sk cracker crisps. Went into our tesco's and they had no clue what i was on about :rotfl:. I did manage to get the blueberry moments though :D

Had crunchy nut for breakfast and for dinner we had spring rolls from freezer tin of beans from cupboard and fried some mash left from yesterdays dinner. weird concoction but somehow it worked.
Looking for bargains anywhere i can :hello:
  • Donna, the coupons are on the Halloween mini rolls, reduced to 30p in Mr s, so 20p off your shop, in Tesco they are 50p so just free.

Just went to Zumba and embarassed myself by throwing up in the toilets 3/4 through, after just saying to my instructor this is my 34 class this year. Didn't make it into the cubicle and some lady cleaned it up while I was praising the porcelain god in the cubicle! Went back to Mr s for some soup paid 19p each, along with the mini rolls, gonna go lay down, no dinner for me.
