Well, I am officially back on this challange!!! I have had too many whoopsies lately!(never thought id say that)
A week or so ago i got loads of beef, chicken legs ect, then on sunday night i got 3 packs of sausages for 49p and a pack of 6 individualy wrapped salmon fillets for £3.14, down from over £12!(who woudl pay that, i dont know!) I dont normally buy bread as i think it takes up too much precious freezer space but i seen a packet of pitta breads for 4p, so had to take them!
Really cant fit any more in now, but i dont know if i woudl be able to say no if i seen another amazing deal!
Tonight were having a chicken and barley stew type thing i made with the chicken legs so thats a start!June GC £130.93/£150Wedding Date Set 13th October 2012 :T0 -

Yep, that's the one
My edition is from 1977
I'll ring my mum later and ask if she still has it, though I have vague recollections of lots of meaty recipes.. I saw when googling some references to the milk marketing board so wonder if they got them free or with coupons or something or was it just the must have cookbook from the 70's?!
Breakfast today - hm bread toasted with peanut butter - didn't really like this... but have a half a jar left that I bought for a recipe (also didn't like the recipe) so wondering what else I can use this in?!0 -

I don't think it was doing too well. Wouldn't mind but not so long back they put a fresh bakery part into it. Good news is Home Bargains is moving across the road into it, so that store will be a lot bigger.
By the way my luck is going at the minute Lynsey, it's a big fat no.
Forgot to mention last night I decided to cook semolina the proper way, on the hob then in the oven and it worked out fine. Ds didn't eat much though as he was full I think, so the rats had the rest of it this morn.
Tomorrow I'm thinking of doing a sausage casserole in the sc with lentils and carrots maybe. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Well someone left the freezer door a little open last night and now I can't open the top three drawers and am forced to use up the food asap, so today its homemade cheese and onion pasties and chicken and veg soup with bread for lunch, then sausage rolls and chips for dinner, yummy
Emptying the freezer and this time it's personal!!:rotfl::rotfl:vintage43:A
