I'm eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge

gailey, Morrisons had the Linda Mc sausages on offer for £1 last week, not sure when it finishes though
MrsCD, the food coop sounds a good price. There isn't anything like that here, there is a community farm but the lowest amount of veg they sell is £7.50 I think which is too much for me
lipstick, that was handy then! I do that myself sometimes
Edit - sausages no longer on offer...0 -

Morning, struggling to shake this "fluey" thing off. Eyes still stuck together this morning, sniffing and sore throat - looks like another few days of this!!!
Still not hungry, or feeling hungry, but need some toast or bagel this morning. No meals planned, hubby can have what he likes!!
Got to go out as we help my brother on a Monday and need milk. Think I've got enough bread in freezer for week (Saturday night Morries on card at weekend) and maybe just buy some fresh muffins during the week. If I feel up to it, I might try and make some bread in breadmaker up to dough stage and make rolls - I will do it eventually!!
Thinking of making carrot and coriander soup.
Really need very little this week, still got some free Clover Light (actually pretty nice).
So many things I want to make or get rid of - a few ready meals and make some fish cakes - just can't be bothered!!
Got a £2 Tesco voucher to use I didn't know about. Last week Tesco emailed me to let me know I had an unused voucher which was expiring - nice of them, especially all the negatives I give them. lol
I'll get something "free" this week from Tesco.........might try them late for some "whoopsies", never usually try Tesco (don't like them!!).
Catch up later.

Morning all.
I've been PAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not that I'm happy or anything.Going to give myself £25 plus the £7 in my purse to see me til next week, and put the rest for holiday spending money. I really don't need anything for at least a few days until my milk runs out.
Dinner for me will be a cuppa soup and fruit. For tea I think I'll do some Linda Mc red onion and cheese plait things.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do for meals this week, usually I have an idea in no particular order but don't have a clue today. Think I'll have to get my stuffing out and make another sausage and apple plait.
I think my washing machine is making holes in clothes. At first I thought it was some tops I'd bought that were the same style but noticed there's holes in a hoody and pair of pyjamas of ds'. Going to have to be saving up for a new one I think!!
Lynsey, you sound shocking, hope you get better soon. xThere's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Seem to be hearing of so many dreadful colds around. Hope you'll all be feeling better soon.
Having toast and marmite for brekkies.
Have some reduced veg that will make a lovely, chunky soup for lunch.
Will finish the day with an omelette, using bits and pieces from the fridge and freezer, with HM wedges and some reduced salad.
That sounds like a nice economical day. Pleased with that!
Must update my spends for this weekend. Quite a bit went out but this was the last weekend my DS1 will be living with us so I pushed the boat out.
