Well I'm a middle aged woman(I've been informed by my dd that 40 is middle aged! :o) and have a ticket. I live on the road behind Ward Park and am really happy that Eminem is coming to play in our wee town. Bangor is being run into the ground....look at Main Street, High Street and dare I mention it?? Queen's Parade! We need the money, we need something......................:A

Damn, I'm classed Middle aged (prehistoric) too by my kids:o I really wanted to go, but thought I would of been lost in a crowd of teenagers, I hope you have a great time Leo :T I'm happy at least one Bangor resident can see the upside for the town:)
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

People need to get a grip. My 10 year old son is begging me to bring him instead of the wife! You know his songs are played on the radio and school kids younger than him are singing them? What do you think of Rihanna? I have heard 5 year olds singing S & M which is little more disturbing for me anyway. For whats its worth if there young kids around at that time of night when hes preforming where are there parents?

The kids are in their beds unable to sleep because of the volume and the parents are in the back garden partaking of a few lemonades!! I know when the last Snow Patrol concert was on, my folks who were a few miles away could hear the music pretty clear. Thank god their lyrics are clean :A

As I've said before, I am a fan of Eminem but I can also see why others wouldn't be in favour. Yes, it's each persons choice whether they go to see him but with the concert being open air, his music is being forced upon the surrounding residents whether they like it or not.

Most festivals are held far from residential areas though - woods, stately homes, castles, racecourses, beaches etc.

    Breaking News:

Eminem's tour of Ireland is to go ahead despite concerns over a sickening attitude to women, appallingly obscene language, an irresponsible attitude to sex and violence, and, of course, the booze.

Eminem said that, despite these shocking traits, he would wait and "judge the Irish for himself."
