kenya travel money

where is the best place to buy travel money for kenya holiday in february 2012 and can u advise me should we take dollars and kenya shillings and how much - and get cash from an atm over there ? we know there is a barclays bank near hotel..

    yeah, don't change too much money before you go because you'll get VERY poor rates here. You can easily change sterling for kenya shillings at a much better rate when you are out there or use the ATMs if you don't want to be carrying cash. No point getting dollars (except for your visa fee if you are getting it on arrival as the dollar rate is always cheaper than paying in sterling)
