We brought back a mask from Gambia but I think it's actually from Mali. All well for 4 months but I am now getting small piles of sawdust under it so reckon there is a larvae of some sort in there. Fortunately I can't see or hear anything :rotfl:

Can anyone recommend a treatment? I assume I'd be better with one I can soak the mask in rather than a spray? I can't see any holes (tbh a bit afraid to look too closely in case something is looking back at me :o)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I'd bin it if I were you... There are some freaky insects and if they hatch / breed you could end up with an infested house. I have heard of flight attendant that didn't realize she had brought a spider home in her suitcase until her house was infested!!!

If you can't bare to get rid, bleach tends to kill woodworm.

You could try sticking it in the freezer for an hour.

Doesn't sound like the most hygenic course of action given that that's where you keep food... :(

No as we don't know what it could be.

    Burn it. Fast.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Still can't say I'm a fan of the idea myself...

Burning it doesn't seem to be very Moneysaving,
Put it on Ebay, then it's someone elses problem.

Cheaper than getting all the wood in your house replaced; or your windows reglazed when the ebay buyer works out what happened.
