  • How did you get on Dancemum?

    I scrubbed some doors (finally got round to getting that sticker off my door for about 5 years ago) and some bannisters and stuff.
    S&Sed the dado rail on my landing.

    Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing
    Level One

    strip the bedding and get it washed.. air the duvet
    Mattress vacuumed turned vacuumed other side and redress bed
    Level Two
    Deal with the floordrobe
    [STRIKE]tidy the underbed stash of junk and miscellaneous gibble!! Rehome those dust mammoths!![/STRIKE] Nothing under there! :j
    [STRIKE]Wipe all the doors and frames upstairs[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Vacuum floors
    Tidy a cupboard/chest of drawers
    Dust and deweb.. inc bed frame!!
    Extras
    1. fill a binbag for charity shop
    2. fill a binbag for the bin
    3. fill a binbag for a friend
    4. fill a binbag for recycling!

    Since last post I have hung out washing,folded up 2 loads.

    Hoovered all downstairs....including under settees and spot cleaned under them.

    Picked up all LOs treasures all over the floor

    Tidied bathroom and cleaned toilet

    Cleaned top of both CODs in LR of[STRIKE] The nuclear explosion that had occured there[/STRIKE] all the neatly stored items on there

    Need to clean floor behind toilet but have no hot water ...so will put it on now and clean when I have thrown LO and BabyD in the bath later...then I can have a bath as always feel yucky after doing this.




    Didnt I just clean the bathroom 2 days ago ??????
    Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
    To include all Food,Toiletries and Petfood.

    hecky thump Pigpen, you must have nerves of steel, a steady hand and a high pain threshold!!!!!!

    I've decluttered 10 miles on the bike. my legs are a bit shaky and I'm having a little sit down now:p

    I think I need a new bike......... help me Martin! :money::money::money:

    House still tidy but not clean - going to rattle off a couple of emails, do the tea and then pick up the squids.

    Ok, that's it for today. Time for cooking, washing-up, showering & going out.
    This is what's left for tomorrow:

    Monday ~ kitchen!
    Level Three
    Sort and organise all the drawers (2/6)

    Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing
    Level Two
    Wipe all the doors and frames upstairs (4/10)

    Wednesday ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level Two
    Wipe any marks off the sofas
    Dust and deweb!
    Extras
    1. Wipe the paintwork over
    2. Sort through the box/bag you chucked your 'decluttering' into!!
    Thursday ~ bathroom/loo and cruddy study!
    Level One
    Declutter the clutter!
    throw out 100 things from the house!
    Level Two
    Clean the bath, basins (1/3) bogs (1/3) shower and the keyboard and mouse!
    Level Three
    scrub down the tiles

    Extras
    1. Empty all the bins AFTER 15 minutes filing/shredding!
    2. Polish any radiators in these rooms (0/5)
    3. Clear a shelf/cupboard wipe everything before replacing neatly
    Friday - spare room

    Level Two
    dust and deweb!
    Level Three
    tidy the cupboards /drawers of clothes
    Wipe grotty marks from the walls and paintwork

    I have really had enough now. Got to school to pick up DS2 and found that he now has half a tooth missing. Front top one. I'm seething. More ammunition for his statement application though.

    2xTD towels emptied & folded

    I've made some more progress (leaving off the stuff I did earlier):

    • [STRIKE]Order meds ready to pick up when we return from holiday[/STRIKE] Done
    • [STRIKE]Do backup of general use USB drive onto PC[/STRIKE], this bit done [STRIKE]then backup said PC (Mr LW has done his)[/STRIKE] Done
    • [STRIKE]Check greenhouse is OK and leave watering can in there for "A"'s convenience;)[/STRIKE] Done
    • [STRIKE]Top up bird feeders:o[/STRIKE] Done
    • [STRIKE]Empty and wash out compost caddy:eek:[/STRIKE] Done
    • [STRIKE]S&S bathroom; give loo a proper clean:eek::eek:[/STRIKE] Done
    • Drop house key in to "A" on way to Mensa meeting tonight
    • [STRIKE]De-fuzz legs (this is an add-on, as I'd forgotten about it):eek:[/STRIKE] Done
    I've also managed HHYoga, and will now do some Brain Training.:o

    Uh oh. Please please get it sorted though. I lost part of my front tooth (straight into a wall on a water ride) and got a cap which fell off - and another, and another - and after a few my dentist said he wasn't going to bother any more and it was only a year ago that I finally got it redone, properly, as a white filling-type-thing. I lived without part of my front tooth for years and years and when I did get it done I cried for ages cause I was so relieved at not having a 'fang' any more.

    Sorry. Rant over. :o

    Have unpacked and everything put away but thats about it.
