  • She twisted my arm when I saw how tiny the filling was in that tooth, so I let her drill into me  I was surprisingly good actually, loud music and thinking about ANYTHING ELSE worked pretty well. Apparently the tooth wasn't loose, I was just imagining it. :o I do have a dead nerve though

Either way I am pain free! :j well, I have to make an appointment with my dentist at uni to get this temporary filling and 'calming' stuff, whatever that is.

Thoroughly confused, but don't care, it doesn't hurt any more :j and I can finally get on with flying, tootsing and frogging (ooh er!)
  • YES - Dancemum I'll join you. Great way to kick my bum into gear, haven't even done 'master bedroom' stuff yet. :o

    Afternoon all!

Thank you for the good wishes for our silver wedding - had a good day. Off to see Paul Simon tonight - front row seats - fairly excited :D

LW hope you have a lovely holiday.
Carlsberg good luck with the interview

I remember DS's school having to do a risk assessment for a history trip which consisted of walking round the village the school is in. Using the zebra crossing outside the school was carefully considered of course, despite the fact that the kids were all aged about 14 & used the crossing unaccompanied at least twice a day. :rotfl:

Still not much flying done. We're having a small family do on Saturday, so I'll rush round like the proverbial before then. The main benefit of Flylady I've found is that a quick whizz round is enough to make the place respectable - no clutter to shift!

Frittered very well done to you and glad you are pain free

    Lamewolf have a lovely holiday

Not much GUAG today so have been mainly pottering, popping to town etc.

Going to do 15 minutes deadheading in the garden before the school run as the sun has come out.

    hey ladies :)
had my driving lesson this morning, it went well (no casulties anyway :p)
must catch up with my flying, have a thing at DD's school after dinner so don't know how late we will be back. first on the list is the daily kitchen stuff, then will be tidying and hoovering LR and hallway. hopefully get around to the bathroom too, although it really isn't bad, my recent de-cluttering of it is holding up well!
have a good day peeps :) xx

Since my last post we have de-gunged the outside of the fridge & put it back, brought the dog cage back in after sweeping it, washed the rest of the kitchen floor and chucked out some junk :j Still gutted about our shed though :( DH phoned up the guy and gave him what for!

I have done my tesco kids order, but I need to batch the vouchers up in 100's with elastic bands. DS has at least 1 elastic band ball - but do you think we can find it??!! It looks like I will be taking a trip to Wilkos when the boys have gone at 5.30 :(
  • Just got back from bass (Stevie Wonder 'I Wish' if anyone's curious ) to find Minion has decluttered the rest of a packet of biscuits, half a bottle of squash and precious little else.

She is now working under threat of a slow and painful death.

She will be having impressions taken of her teeth in 3 weeks and should have the braces fitted shortly after that. So no apples or crusty bread from that point on for a while, as the consultant said that the NHS probably wouldn't be happy about funding it due to the borderline crowding, but she could get it done due to Minion's other issues 'for safety'. Far be it for me to argue, as I couldn't come up with three grand to have them done privately. Didn't want to point out that they were more crooked a month ago when she fell up the stairs and smacked them into the bannister.

Managed to crack the downstairs bathroom mirror - slipped on invisible cat bleurgh and caught arm on glass shelf. Which was stronger than the mirror. So will have to swap it over with upstairs mirror and then drag the old bathroom cabinet from the flat out of the shed and put that upstairs. Ho hum. Been meaning to do that for months.

Definitely having marrow tonight. Or megacourgette. Not sure what is the most appealing name for it, but have to brave the Triffid Patch to harvest it.
