morning all
did 12 hours (honestly) at work yesterday as I stayed until I got the reports finished. I am going to clean the bathroom then help on the y6 trip in the river.
naughty boys are being told that IF they fall into the river they are not to worry for Mrs Valli is trained in mouth-to-mouth resuss
we're hoping this will entice them not to perch precariously on the bankDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
right-o kids and hubby decluttered to nursery and work - HHC at 9 anyone? got to get dressed first!
Haven't been list-demolishing this week only fire fighting so I'm going to try to do some bits that got left earlier in the week. Including my nemesis - the mop and bucket.........
LW it sounds like you're all under control now, I hate the build up to a holiday, its so stressful! - but so long as you've got your meds, your adaptations, your passport, travel insurance and your credit card you can get anything else you've forgotten out there. (I suspect you have a spreadsheet of items needed though;);)) The house only needs to be at a level where you don't think you'll get mice or ants while you're away. Everything else is a nice to have not a need to have - I've even bought knitting supplies on one trip as I don't like to go anywhere without a craft project:rotfl: Hope you have a lovely time!

The AS Level Geography this year had Rivers as it's compulsary element. When going over the fieldwork notes before the fieldwork exam DD2 talked to me about the risk assessment carried out before they were allowed in the river!
It came in handy as risk assessment came upon the exam - they had assessed for:- risk of drowning ( sorted by not being allowed in water deper than a welly!) risk of hypothermia ( not getting wet - it was november - and wearing hats, scarves etc) and risk of Weil's disease ( not getting skin in contact with water and NOT drinking any!)
Any/all of this would probably really interest yr 6's....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Dentist in 1:15
I got about 5 hours sleep last night. Was so exhausted I can't even remember getting into bed
I'm really hoping I don't get talked out of an extraction. I'd love to be (almost) pain free by the end of today. I have SO much stuff to do, it's actually driving me crazy to not really be able to do anything (the meal last night was rather a push!)0
