  • Congrats to Sammie :j

Tooth pain is manageable - managed by drinking about 5 litres of water today and swilling each mouthful around. Interspersed with salt rinses, mouthwash, desperate scrubbing and painkillers.

When I get quite tired again I'm going to dose myself up (got paracetamol and ibuprofen left) and hope for some decent sleep like last night.

Flying is again, non existent. Can't bring myself to do much but mope around feeling sorry for myself. :o

    Evening all

Really busy day with work, DS3 Atheletics schools district meet - he won the 400m boys race very convincingly so pleased DS2 and I could be there; then onto DS3 cricket match and back to chair street party meeting.

Surprisingly I have managed a bit of flying and to bake a cake and make some soup so there was some subsistence between events.

Hex/Serena my catalogue arrived today too - it's still in it's wrapper to be savoured when I can give it the time it deserves.

Kaz big hugs and glad you are ok

Toots - sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Big hugs

Natty good to see you back.

Sorry that is as far as I've got and I must go as there is still washing on the line to get in.

Biscuit monster Is that what you have done or what you have left to do?

It's what I have done. If it was what I had left to do, I'd be dancing down the street! xx
  • Am not fully caught up with thread but hope everyone is ok. I managed to get more done that I'd hoped yesterday and my DH helped me fix the bed and sort the washing. Even managed a HHI which really is a first for me - I'm the iron minutes before you wear it type and now we both have ironed clothes for the rest of the week! :T

Morning all up early to see which Olympic tickets we got - so very happy as we get to go to the Athletics stadium when our friend's daughter Jodie Williams will potentially be running in the Women's relay.

Off to invigilate this morning so I'll just get the washing on the line and do some flying when I get back.

    Have a good day ladies.

So far this week....the kitchen is looking good; lovely fresh sheets on the bed; and today.... my nemisis - the living room!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

  • Morning all,

Woke up just after 5am (why?) and had the joy of poking the cat to wake him up for a change :D

Decided I urgently needed tea and toast, so did that, made Minion a cuppa at 6.45am, put WM on...

    Then came back to bed.

I think I might pop out and try to get some shopping early, which means I get more time later to fly.

But I would have to get up again for that.....:)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
